Who We Are
A Murfreesboro company with its own trucks, its own yard and its own phone line
Stones River Dumpsters rents roll-off dumpsters and hauls junk from our yard at 831 Park Avenue in Murfreesboro, a few minutes from Broad Street, Memorial Boulevard and the I-24 exits. We run five container sizes, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yards, plus a truck and a crew for the jobs nobody wants to lift.
The people on this page are the people you deal with. Peter runs operations and the trucks, Alan runs the yard and keeps the containers clean and roadworthy, Claire answers the phone, sizes your job and books the delivery, and Jane keeps the office and the invoices straight. When the office is closed the calls still come to us, not to a call center.
We quote one flat price that includes delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance, and we say so before the truck leaves the yard. We also know the local rules, from Murfreesboro’s right-of-way permit under City Code § 28-11 to what Smyrna, La Vergne and the county do and do not publish, and we tell you what applies to your address before we deliver.
How We Work
Where our loads go
Every load we haul goes to a permitted facility: the Rutherford County Transfer Station at 6025 Landfill Road or Middle Point Landfill on East Jefferson Pike. The county landfill has taken no construction debris since 2018 and the county convenience centers refuse it, which is why a roll-off is the practical route for any real quantity. Material Tennessee keeps out of the waste stream, such as tires, lead-acid and lithium batteries, wet paint, refrigerant appliances and asbestos, is routed to the right outlet rather than buried; our blog lists them.
