Where We Deliver

Service Area

Murfreesboro, Rutherford County and the counties around it

Our yard is at 831 Park Avenue in Murfreesboro, a few minutes from Broad Street (US-41), Memorial Boulevard (US-231) and the I-24 exits between Smyrna and Joe B Jackson Parkway. From there we deliver across the city, from downtown and the East Main historic district to Blackman, Medical Center Parkway and the MTSU area, to the rest of Rutherford County, and out to Woodbury, Shelbyville, Manchester and Lebanon. Each page below covers the local right-of-way rule, the office to call, the neighbourhoods we work in and the roads we use to get there.
City — Rutherford County seat. Not on your driveway or lot. On the street, Murfreesboro Code § 28-11 requires a permit before anything obstructs the right-of-way, plus warning signs day and night. The published right-of-way permit is $50 through the City Engineer — we confirm with the Right-of-Way Coordinator (615-893-6441 ext. 1626) before delivery.
Town — Rutherford County · about 12 miles from our Murfreesboro yard. Not on private property. Smyrna publishes no dumpster permit — its code simply bars occupying a street or right-of-way with materials (§ 16-101), so the container goes on the driveway or lot. If the street is unavoidable we check with Public Works (615-459-9766) before delivery.
City — Rutherford County · about 19 miles from our Murfreesboro yard. Not on private property. La Vergne publishes no dumpster permit, and its code fines anyone blocking a street without one (§ 16-116), so the container goes on the driveway or lot. We check with City Hall (615-274-2922) before any street placement.
Unincorporated — Rutherford County · about 11 miles from our Murfreesboro yard. Not on your property, and there is no published county rule for the road either. Dumpster permits in the City of Murfreesboro

On a private driveway or lot, no permit. In a City street or any other public right-of-way, City Code § 28-11 requires a permit from the City Engineer before anything obstructs it, with MUTCD warning devices day and night. The published right-of-way permit is $50 per street under § 28-103, doubled if work starts first, applied for through the City’s project portal; the Right-of-Way Coordinator at 111 West Vine Street is on 615-893-6441 ext. 1626, and work dates are due by the Thursday before the job. The City asks for a certificate of insurance naming it as additional insured, and each day without a permit is a separate offence. Our permit guide walks through the whole process.

Outside the city, none of the towns we serve publishes a dumpster permit, but each has its own right-of-way ordinance and someone to call, which is why every town page states exactly what it found. Christiana, Rockvale and Lascassas are unincorporated and fall under Rutherford County. Where a place publishes nothing, we say so and keep the container on private property.
